Uncommon
Brewers (UB) is a community-oriented organic microbrewery beginning
operations in Santa Cruz county. Incorporating traditional Belgian
brewing techniques, cutting-edge innovation from the modern West
Coast, and grounded in the principles of sustainability voiced by
the Slow Food Movement, our goal is to make uncommon beers for
uncommon people.

Siamese Twin Ale

Belgian-style Double seasoned with coriander and entirely uncommon
Thai spices. the floral notes of lemongrass and sharper bite of
kaffir lime blend with the deep malt of this double to produce a
dangerously drinkable beer.
This ale
features a blend of whole licorice root and star anise to create an
uncommon addition to that traditional export Porter's hearty
character.

A deep copper
red, brewed with maple sugar, and the most uncommon addition of
Candy Cap mushrooms. This beer is a savory red ale with a bloom of
maple aroma.

British-style
Nut Brown Ale brewed with buckwheat and bacon. An initial
hop bitterness cleanses the palate for the smoky finish of this
Brown
Ale. There is real bacon-cured pork in this beer.
